The Four Main Stages Of Being Salvationed

There are four main stages or levels of salvation to being salvationed. Unlike what most people think, the meaning of salvation (soteriology) is much more involved within one's life than the moment they "got saved."

"Saving is all His idea, and all His work. All we do is trust Him enough to let Him do it. It's God's Gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do...." Ephesians 2:8-10. THE MESSAGE.

Even before "unsaved" individuals accept Christ as their Saviour, He has already granted them His Salvation God-Originating through Prevenient Grace. They may or may not realize that God is enveloping them with His Tender Love, Protection, and Guidance; but He says, "I will provide for their needs before they ask." Isaiah 65:24a (EB). And God does!

When individuals respond to the biddings of the Holy Spirit, they are God-Empowered to confess that they are a sinner, in need of a Saviour, and believe that Jesus paid the price in full for all their sins of the past, present, and future. Born-Anew Grace is the empowerment through Christ's Blood-Bought Cross enables them to be immediately and eternally Saved at that point. Once a person is "saved," they cannot lose it as it is an Eternally-Done-Deal! The Apostle John wrote these assuring words to the Born-Anew Believer-Christians of his generation. "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the nameof the Son of God." 1 John 5:13.

Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." John 10:27-29. After individuals are saved, the Ongoing Keeping Graced Empowerment of Salvationing enables them to continue to "Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." 2 Peter 3:18.

As Born-Anew Believer-Christians begin their journey with Christ, just like a new-born infant, they need time to grow and mature or be perfected. When they err, the Holy Spirit brings them back in harmony of Sovereign Grace with Christ time and time again. King Solomon said, "A just man falleth seven times [seven is a figure of speech representing completion or perfection], and riseth up again." Proverbs 24:16 (lps). "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word [of more knowledge thereby more understanding]." Psalm 119:9 (lps).

We learn from this verse that the only way our hearts can be continually cleansed from sin is by assimilating the written Word of God and confessedly witnessing that we are God's Workmanship and not our own. David prayed, "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest." Psalm 51:1-4. When Authentic Christians stumble in Grace, the Holy Spirit holds onto such that are still within His reach (distance is not a barrier with God's Almighty Spirit Power), and restores them upright again and again, time after time, throughout one's temporary physical lifespan.

Being Holy and Salvationed occurs when, at death, one's spirit and soul are Gripped Up Completedly By Eternal Grace by a God-Given angel, placed in a Body of Light, and taken to Heaven for all Eternity. The dead body remains on this earth as, "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor. 15:50. In summary, Scripture confirms that God will never leave you physically, nor forsake you emotionally. He sits with you in Heavenly places; and provides for all of your needs. After accepting the God of His Word; He then ignites the relationship - which Adam lost - ANEW with you, and there is nothing He will not be, do or go with you personally, individually and as one-of-His-Kind. At every and any juncture or situation you find yourself therein, you will find His provisions which He entitles you to. God assures you that your security is with Him "how you are" at any given time, place and circumstance.

Thus, His purpose or assignment for your Born-Anew relationship with Him cannot be unperfected, because He keeps you, and everyone else whom He has Redeemed, in the Palm of His Hand, no matter why, no matter how, no matter when, and no matter where - believing and trusting God's Word!
