The Unlimited Greatness Of The Body Of Christ
(Divine Composite Church Both Seen And Unseen)

This study requires an unfeigned and unvain imagination of Born-Anew Believers which will enable them to comprehend a greater depth of perspective exceeding their present knowledge of uncertain spiritual environments of enriched Spiritually-True ascertainments.

Scripture says, "However, the Most High does not dwell in houses and temples made with hands; as the prophet says, [Isa. 66:1, 2.] Heaven [is] My throne, and earth the footstool for My feet. What [kind of] house can you build for Me, says the Lord, or what is the place in which I can rest? Was it not My hand that made all these things?" Acts 7:48-50 (Amp.).

Imagine, if you will, God sitting on His Throne in Heaven, and this earth being His Footstool. How big of a Body does that appear to be? At this point, you may ask yourself, "Where are you taking me?" However, this Biblical Symbolic Language represents the Body of Christ which is His Divine Composite Church both seen and unseen; and how Born-Anew Believers fit as lively stones and priests under the Head of this Body as Christ being the King and High Priest. Just like a clothed body, the Body of Believers of the Divine Composite Church is both seen and unseen; i.e., the seen Believers may attend an organized church, whereas the unseen Believers are not church-goers, but glorify God by depending upon Christ's Saving Grace and allowing His Spirit to guide them! For instance, our head, neck, arms and part of our legs are generally seen and unclothed; but our internal organs are both unseen and kept clothed. "If each part of the body were the same part, there would be no body. But truly God put the parts in the body as he wanted them. He made a place for each one of them. And so there are many parts, but only one body." 1 Corinthians 12:18-20 (EB).

"Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God's [own] household. You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone1. In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit." Ephesians 2:19-22 (Amp.).

What a picture! God on His Heavenly Throne - extending His Spiritual Body-Temple of Born-Anew Believers from Heaven all the way to earth! And for all eternity, His Spiritual Body-Temple will continue to expand as more Born-Anew Believers are added from generation to generation!

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:4-6.

Peter wrote: "To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. ... But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: which in time past were not a people but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2:4-10.

At the time Peter wrote this letter to First Century Christian Believers they were in transition from observing the Old Covenant laws to the New Covenant of Grace Christ had established after fulfilling all the demands of the law on the Cross. The "chosen nation" Peter is referring to is not the physical Jewish Nation, but all Born-Anew Believers of Jesus Christ (Spiritual Israel), as the Apostle Paul writes: "You were all baptized into Christ, and so you were all clothed with Christ. This shows that you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. You belong to Christ. So you are Abraham's descendants. You get all of God's blessings because of the promise that God made to Abraham." Galatians 3:26, 27, 29 (EB).

"A person's body is only one thing, but it has many parts. Yes, there are many parts to a body, but all those parts make only one body. Christ is like that too.... And a person's body has more than one part. It has many parts. The foot might say, 'I am not a hand. So I am not part of the body.' But saying this would not stop the foot from being a part of the body.... But God put the body together and gave more honor to the parts that need it. God did this so that our body would not be divided. God wanted the different parts to care the same for each other. If one part of the body suffers, then all the other parts suffer with it. Or if one part of our body is honored, then all the other parts share its honor. All of you together are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of that body." 1 Corinthians 12:12, 14-15, 24-27 (EB).

To help us further understand the Unlimited Greatness of God, and the importance of His Spiritual Body of Believers, it would be well for us to review one of the songs of David. "Lord, you have examined me. You know all about me. You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know well everything I do. Lord, even before I say a word, you already know what I am going to say. You are all around me - in front and in back. You have put your hand on me. Your knowledge is amazing to me. It is more than I can understand. Where can I go to get away from your Spirit? Where can I run from you? If I go up to the skies, you are there. If I lie down where the dead are, you are there. If I rise with the sun in the east, and settle in the west beyond the sea, even there you would guide me. With your right hand you would hold me. I could say, 'The darkness will hide me. The light around me will turn into night.' But even the darkness is not dark to you. The night is as light as the day. Darkness and light are the same to you. You made my whole being. You formed me in my mother's body. I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well." Psalm 139:1-14 (EB). Impacted are you?

Now that you have used your unfeigned and unvain imagination of the above Biblical perspective, how Great has God become in your comprehension - or, BE-COME-ING - as in real spiritual conceptualization? Are you impacted?

If one were to take all the man-made worship buildings in the world - Christian church buildings, various religious temples, worship centers, Cathedrals, meeting houses, mosques, etc, they would still be earthly-bound and under God's Foot Stool, for Scripture further states, "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." Ephesians 1:19-23.

The Samaritan woman at the well was confronted by Christ as having five husbands and the man she was currently living with wasn't her husband. Christ went on to say, " 'Believe me, woman. The time is coming when you will not have to be in Jerusalem or on this mountain to worship the Father.... The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. That time is now here. And these are the kinds of worshipers the Father wants. God is spirit. Those who worship God must worship in spirit and truth.' " John 4:21-24 (EB).

Christ was giving her a preview of His Kingdom that came in the First Century - and forever shall be; as He later spoke to the Pharisees saying; "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:20b-21.

This woman was told by other men that they truly loved her - but did they?? Women represent churches in the Bible because of being "life-givers." The six men the Samaritan woman had were all false lovers - representing the culture of 21st century narcissistic carnal detrimental backwardness of being held in bondage of self aggrandizement or self-serving as "they profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate" (Titus 1:16); which is opposite of altruism as in the selflessness manifested by Jesus Christ.

Thoughts To Ponder

An eight-year-old boy once asked his dad, "How can Jesus, as big as He is, fit in me?" Of course, those who have responded to God's Goodness and Invitation of election, know it is by the Spiritual Truth - being Jesus.

From earliest times, humankind has attempted to reach God by going toward and/or up to Him by self-righteous works. But the only way one can commune with God is when God takes the initiative to approach the sinner. It is by His Grace alone, that one repents and allows Christ to reign within their life. Notice how God confounded the language of the people, thus bringing an end to Babel's Tower of man's seeking his way to God. Genesis 11:1-9.

If you would record all the messages of any religious entity on any given day or hour, and played the recordings of such preachings/teachings; it would be impossible to think straight - or think at all - in the midst of the chaos of various conflicting messages; whereas God has promised to guide His own by His "Still Small Voice" in a personal relationship connection. "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." Isaiah 30:21. "And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice." Kings 19:12.

Are scientists finding that the other planets are expanding; or are they coming to know the expanse of God's Seven Heavens??
