Christians undeniably claim faith (subjective1); but God is also looking for faithfulness (objective2) in the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 being completely fulfilled. Most everyday-nominal Christians, meeting upon their worship-times, "call into existence the things that are not" - to have them become the promised blessings "as if they were" (referring to Heb. 11:1). In doing so, they go from one blessing to another - weeping for more of the same - like little children blown with the wind by many a false teaching - without coming to know The Author through their mind-knowledge of spiritual maturity as described in 2 Peter 1:4-10. Thus they skip from their own self-will to their fit-made emotions to a quick-fix-adrenal-feeling without the intellectual attributes to be more likened to Christ in the straight-and-narrow Way Of Uprightedness. Spiritual things are Spiritually discerned following suit as Spirit, Will, Mind, and Emotions within the individual's Body-Temple. In God's judgment, each person will be accountable for "the things done in his/her body3" (2 Cor. 5:10). But the Preterist 4, searching out all things pertinent to assuaging true contextual meaning-fulness for the Whole-Personality (Prov. 25:2[b], "calls those things that never should be ... as though they never become" (see Acts 8:9-25); thus having subjective and objective faith which places one in the Center of God's Eminent Will - pleasing Him without evil curses - and going forward since God is faultless and timingly unmistakable in not duplicating the prophetic fulfillment of Matthew 24 events of AD 70, and by not ascribing Modern-Day New Testament Faithful-Believers to the evil-ignorance of such a pseudo alienation in attributing the fulfillment to some futuristic-time or state-of-affairs, so it is of greatest importance for Altruistic Christians to abide in the true contextual (sola scripture) faith God has implanted within them from an inward-spirit-filled rebirthing, for Scripture further warns that those who reject the Mind of Christ as the Son of God and their Saviour from sin will become more and more deaf and blind to His Kingdom of Light (see Mark 4:11, 12). Besides, in the context of Scripture, "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it" (Prov. 10:22). Thereof and therefore, authentic/altruistic believers are not candidates any longer to the wrath of God; as so many cults and aberrations of pseudo and quasi expositors hold their followers in bondages of man-made fears that are not equated with genuine love, caring and keeping of God's Almighty Power. False-guilt can be even more devastating than cognizant conscience-guilt of going against God - thus one's self?! The spirit of this present world is: "what you don't know can't hurt you"; "out of sight, out of mind"; "all is fair in love and war"; "life is hatred and love, like guns and roses"; "the evil in the world is all from the devil." But ignorance of more truth is a definite-blinded-evil to any searching soul who desires the most excellent understanding to be authentically informed! Therefore, the worldliness of bribes, wealth and materialism always costs the price of a clean and purified conscience towards God; in which the untaught and unlearned do always err (see 2 Tim. 3:7, Eph. 4:14).
Sacrifice Of Praise. In Old Testament times, people were required to offer sacrifices when worshiping God (Exodus 8:8). But after the Cross of Christ, the only sacrifice God requires is praise: "By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name" (Heb. 13:15).
Pray In Jesus' Name. "For through [Christ] we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father" (Eph. 2:18).
Pray With Boldness. "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Heb. 4;15-16).
Sin Hinders Prayer's Genuine Answers. "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear, for your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness" (Isaiah 59:1-3). "And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood" (Isaiah 1:15).
Intervening Prayer Requests After Having Acknowledged Sin. Those requesting someone else to intervene for them in prayer, need to acknowledge their own sins and confess them before God. "Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that He take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people" (Num. 21:7).
Restitution. In addition to confessing one's sins to God, He also requires one to make restitution toward others offended (Gen. 20:7). "Therefore if thou bring thy gift [yourself] to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother [anyone wronged by you] hath ought against thee; leave there thy gift [leave your saved soul] before the altar [with God], and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift [by a spirit made whole or perfect]" (Matt. 5:23, 24 amplified). Read the account of Job praying for his friends (Job 42:7-9). When Jesus told His disciples "how" to pray, it reads: "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors [always in first person acknowledgments]" (Matt. 6:12). "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses" (Mark 1:25). Betrayed? Forgive to live! Learn from the burn!
Quietly Wait For God's Answer. The Psalmist says: "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him" (Ps. 62:6); and "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him" (Ps. 37:7).
Only God Can Forgive Sins. No man or woman has the power to forgive the sins of another who trespasses against God - but God Himself, through Christ's Atoning Blood, and the propitiation given in the fullness of the confession! And the confession individually for the offensives done to one's fellow man/woman must also be acknowledged - and restitution reinstated - if material gains were part of the individual's offensives. Then and only then does anyone have "what it takes" to have a right standing with God and his/her fellow man/woman because he/she may look the whole world in the face and have the "peace of God, which passes all [this world's carnal] understanding" (Phil. 4:7).
The Lord's Prayer. John 17 is the Lord's Genuine Prayer, as all others pale and fade beside it. He Himself is Being both Substance (what) and Essence (why), and is available to every mature believer elected to respond to His call for all the unceasing ages or new generations (when) among all circumstances (where). And the elected believer (who) prays as receiving all things in Christ Jesus is found in Luke 11.
The Seven-Fold Characteristics Of The Holy Spirit (Eyes Of Omnipresence): Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, Reverence (Isaiah 11:2). After reading this lesson, if you are not really interested in changing to become more of God's character-building-blocks, it would be insincere on your part - and ours - to beseech a Holy God merely for wanting this world's material gains, and nothing more. On the other hand, if you sincerely realize your need for a transformation, within your spiritual soul, to be more like Christ according to His Seven-Fold Characteristics, we most graciously join with you in prayer. Accepting the Seven-Fold Characteristics of The Holy Spirit also enables each born-again believer to produce the Fruit of the Spirit which is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Moderation (with no condemning law). Gal. 5:22, 23.
A Transformed Life. The following was written by Lisette, who was formerly incarcerated at Riverside Correctional Facility in Philadelphia, PA. The Apostle Paul states: "O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death" (Rom. 7:24)? The answer, of course, is the Christian's Christ!

1Subjective is "faith building" in relationship to one's Maker and Redeemer.
2Objective is the "building of faithfulness" towards living whole-heartedly with one another.Good angelic hosts are compatible to both 1 & 2 above.
3In Old Testament times, sins committed ran into the third and forth generations. Not so with the New Testament of God's Covenant Of Sovereign Grace, however, "the son [offspring] shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son [offspring]" Ezekiel 28:20.
4There are four main schools of thought concerning the meaningfulness of the Book of Revelation: Preterist: contemporary-historical; Historicist; Futurist: eschatological; Idealist: timeless. In each diversion, we do not divest any free moral individual's right of his/her own choice; but Full Preterists believe God's wrath was poured-out upon Ancient Israel - saving only a remnant of believers in Christ - at His Accomplished Mission by AD 70.
